If you flew into JFK, take the air train to Jamaica Station and then take LIRR from Jamaica to Stony Brook. This brings you to the undergraduate campus and you can walk across to the medical school. The commute times can be somewhat limiting. I know some people ended up renting a car, but as long as you plan in advance you can commute.Just wondering, how are people commuting from the airport to the school of medicine? Are there any buses/shuttles that anyone can recommend? Thanks

This is going to be your best bet unless you are willing to shell out a lot of money for a car rental or Uber/cab.If you flew into JFK, take the air train to Jamaica Station and then take LIRR from Jamaica to Stony Brook. I heard 4-6 at mine!I distinctly remember her saying 4-6 weeks, and that’s what I have written down from her discussion
NopeDoes everyone from a certain interview day get updated at the same time? Regardless of A, WL or R
Any IS still waiting to hear back 7 weeks post interview 🙁
You can't declare in state residency if the primary reason for your move to the state is medical school. You'd be OOS all 4 years.Does anyone know how easy it is to declare in state residency after a year??

You can change after the first year. They said most OOS can do it.

It is super easy apparently. You just live off campus for a year in an apartment, and you will have it for the next 3Does anyone know how easy it is to declare in state residency after a year??
Congratulations! When did you interview?Accepted today! IS
What day did you interview?Just got that lovely A email 🙂
And two weeks after interviewing too. I guess they're moving fast.
10/22What day did you interview?
Oh wow. I was there the week before you. I was expecting 4-8 weeks. They really are doing things out of order a bit. Congrats though!10/22
Heavily dependent on how they schedule you. Some people are out at 1, some people are out at 3. You could get your interviews back to back or you could have 2+ hours between them. Can anyone give me an idea of the interview schedule? I just need to know when to expect the day to be finished!
That sucks, post II?R just now
